Writer's Block

I know this comes as no big shock,
I really do hate writer’s block.
I rant and rave. I scream and curse.
I just can’t seem to write this verse.
I try, but it's impossible to cajole
Coherent words from rigmarole.
This poppycock, this balderdash,
This gobbledygook,  I won’t rehash.
I pray that soon this trend is bucked,
This writer’s block can go take a hike.

No blockage here... thanks for participating in my nonsense.

LOL, Mary! I have never noticed you to have writers' block. You must keep it under lock and key....or well disguised.

Oh I do also hate writers block, it's one of the worst things, but I do have to say, I wish whenever I get writers block again that whatever comes out sounds like this, because this is not the kind of stuff I put out when my poetic mind is lost. Very nice Mary. Thanks

writers block is a myth...and the only way to break out of it is to write...write daily even if it sucks...that is my motto...

they say it's best not to even recognize that writer's block exists

LOL, I have to admit, I write a whole lot of stuff that sucks! But I do try to get something down every day, and when it's one of those days when the ideas aren't flowing the way I want, I write directly to the blockage or to my stubborn little muse. Occasionally my rantings about their grand conspiracy to derail my creativity are funny enough to put into a poem :)

Gotta love the writer's block that eventuates in such angry words, though they tell us about how that empty page will haunt and taunt us.
