My body just keeps getting colder,
       And the temperature clashes
       That come with hot flashes,
Can make my tranquility smolder

I am SO on board with this. Not only clever, but true. Love this slice of life, even if it is melting on the plate as we speak! Glad to be back... Good one, Mary. Peace, Amy

Ah, I can SO relate...I'm hot, I'm cold, my feet won't get warm and then, all of a sudden I'm broiling under my sheets. I still don't think I'm ready to jump back into the Poetry Jam, but peri-menopause was on my mind for the prompt! Thanks for your limerick. YES!

I know I will regret this, but I am sooo cold all the time that I can hardly wait for those hot flashes, yes I am sorry I just said that....I'm sure it's no picnic.
