Zodiac - 1896 - Alphonse Mucha |
She charts the cosmic
Dance of the nighttime sky,
Taurus and Scorpio,
Gemini and Pisces,
In transient tango,
Each sign wielding
Influence over its house
As the eternal march
Of the planets continues,
Judging the aspects
To interpret some pattern
To aid those of us
Living underneath
The blazing stars.

You know, there's a lot about horoscopes I believe in. My youngest son and I are both Geminis and so much alike, my daughter and husband both live up to their Leo legacy, and my middle child is Virgo like my mom. It's amazing. I don't read horoscopes daily, though.
I really like this image that you picked, Mary! I'm like Laurie on the ideas of horoscopes, I've seen too many more than coincidences to not believe that there's something there although I don't read them daily either. Great poem, Mary. I really like this part:"She charts the cosmic dance of the nighttime sky" so pretty!
This was a very interesting choice of theme, Mary. The heavens may indeed hold answers, vibrating between the stars.
I love that wind-up. Thanks for being part of my prompt, and sorry for arriving l;ate to read it!
