A Woman Apart

I’m merely a visitor
In an unfamiliar landscape,
Wandering through the world
I was meant to inhabit,
But not knowing if I’m just
A half-step removed in time
Or if the ground beneath my feet
Shifted while I paid no attention.

Nice capture of that lost feeling or sensation between the here and half step in time ~

This made me feel so sad for the main character. I cannot imagine feeling so unconnected, unhinged, unsteady.

This poem resonates with me...I have felt that wandering like a stranger feeling, also the ground shifting.....every word and line perfect in this poem.

Absolutely wonderful. Reminds me of Sylvia Plath . Can relate to this one. Enjoyed it. Thank you.

Thing with me is I'm still trying connect with this world. I don't know why I was meant to live in society, I'm waiting for the big lesson.

Your poem is adorable and beautifully written. <3

Kisses.

Amazing how this poem goes hand in hand with the photo. I wonder which came first?
