The Watchful Moon

© Mama Zen Photography

The moon keeps
Her silent vigil over
The slumbering world,
But, every now and again,
She feels the need
To sneak a peek
At what we do
While she sleeps.

Love it, Mary M.
A short, creative write, complete with exquisite imagery. Does the job brilliantly! To me, poetry is about saying a lot with a few words.

Sometimes she don't like what she sees...lol. Remind me to close the shades, last thing I want to do is embarass the moon. Loved this.

Ha! Love the idea of the moon "sneaking a peak." Sneaky, sultry girl. ;)

This is wonderful! I love the idea of the moon sneaking a look at what we're up to.

I'm sorry it took me so long to drop by. I've been sick, and I'm running way behind.
