A New Season

Warming rays
Bring a welcome thaw,
Ending my
Infinite
Winter, leaving the drama
In my icy past.

Time has come
To spread my branches
In salute
To the sun,
Time to grow and blossom as
I always should have.

It is beautiful when someone realizes they can bloom when they thought there wouldn't be another spring in their life.

... as I always should have is a very telling phrase.

I agree with Kim about "as I always should have" — a very telling phrase indeed.
Also very well said, Mary.

It is time for a rebirth of our spirits. 5th dimension said it all singing, "Let the sunshine in..."

All kinds of springs....each one nice in its own right, especially if its unexpected. Very good...loved it.

Leaving the drama of winter behinds... I'm all for that. But I think spring is a bit of a diva, too. :)
