bridal glow
turned sallow,
her life force
siphoned away
by the one
she trusted
above all others,
leaving only
an emaciated shell
wrapped in
satin and tulle
as the honey-
moon wanes
into oblivion.

A great interpretation from you for the prompt.

Really like "life force siphoned away" Mary.
I never saw the picture but your verses have painted a very eccentric picture. Well done.
Quite eerie!
What! Did someone make a movie about me? Hee hee! Good response to the prompt, kiddo. Am enjoying all the cool reads.
Wonderful Mary! I love your how you portrait his vision~ Very eccentric...I wish he could read our poems! mmmh, off to see if there is a way to get his attention(now I'm being eccentric, lol)
